Youth Whitetail Specials

Passing the hunting heritage on to the next generation of hunters is what the special youth seasons are all about.

TPWD has set aside Saturday and Sunday, January 2-15, 2012 as a special youth only season to encourage all adults to share the hunting experience with the next generation of hunters.

During the statewide special youth only hunting weekend, licensed youth 16 years of age or younger will be allowed to harvest white tailed deer and Rio Grande turkey. A special youth hunting license $7.00 is required and are available at the ranch.

7 points or less Whitetail
$1450
Includes 1 adult, 1 child, 2 days/2 nights lodging, meals, guide fees and (1) seven point or less whitertail buck.
Additional child $850

8 point Whitetail
$2500
Includes 1 adult, 1 child, 2 days/2 nights lodging, meals, guide fees and (1) eight point whitertail buck.
Additional child $1450
